Tonight, I have migrated the entire Trilium build from Trilium by Zadam, to Trilium Next.
I had set up Trilium-Next for a loved one, and had realised there are so many new features that had been implemented, including some community made widgets and solutions which I had manually set up on my old build. This included zen mode, drawing tools and much more!
The biggest selling point for me was the native integration of an MFA solution! This had been a huge hassle for me in the past, as I had set up a full routing solution with Authelia to have MFA set up.
Migration was more than easy. I deployed a Trilium next build, grabbed the database from my old Trilium deployment, copied the database to replace the default database, and started up Trilium next. Trilium did the rest and it all just worked!
I'm looking forward to many more years with Trilium!
